This system will save the customer circa £2,100 per year and take 5 to 6 years to pay for itself.

Summary

We carried out the full installation of this solar and battery storage system in Tregavethan, Truro. This was a repeat customer who has previously purchased a ‘Cornish rocker’ ground mount solar and battery storage system from us back in 2021.

This new build property will include an air source heat pump to run the heating and hot water and a second one to heat the swimming pool and an EV charger with a predicted annual usage of 12,000 kWh’s.

We predict that the solar will generate 11,036 kWh’s per year. 3821 kWh’s of this will come directly from the solar, 2475 kWh’s will be supplied from the battery storage units with the excess 4,742 kWh’s being sold back to the grid this will bring in revenue circa £650 depending on the SEG rate.
