Payback Period
This system will save the customer circa £4,270 per year and take 7 to 8 years to pay for itself.
We carried out the full installation of this 17.4kW ground mount solar array on a farm near Bodmin. The customer came to us at their electricity bills were extortionately high when electricity bills went through the roof in 2022. We therefore decided that a ‘Cornish Rocker’ ground mount frame and battery storage system was the route to take in order to reduce their bill by as much as possible.
This system will produce 19,000 kWh’s of electricity per year, of this 12,200 kWh’s will be used by the farm, 8200 kWh’s directly from the solar and 4000 kWh’s from the battery storage system. This system will help to reduce the farms electricity bills, better protect them against electricity price increases in the future and reduce there carbon footprint by producing renewable energy on site.
